This Online Chemical Safety Training Course will teach you the necessary skills that are required in Ireland to fully understand the risks associated with activities involving handling, storage, use or exposure to chemicals in the workplace, and the behaviours and techniques required to control such risks, avoiding injury to you and others. This course is in line with Health & Safety Authority Requirements.

This course is designed for all employees working in a number of sectors, involving general day to day tasks where chemicals are present. This includes anyone working with in these sectors prior to commencing employment, regardless of their role.

The course includes all required knowledge set out by the Health & Safety Legislation in Ireland.

Course Outcome

Upon completing the course, you will be required to fill out a course assessment, to demonstrate your understanding of the subjects.

Once you achieve a pass rate of 80% or higher, a certificate will be issued.
