Fire Safety Training Course

This Online Fire Safety Training Course will teach you the necessary skills that are required in Ireland to fully understand the risks associated with a potential fire in the workplace, and the behaviours and techniques required to control such risks, avoiding serious injury to you and others. This course is in line with Health & Safety Authority Requirements.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for all employees working in a almost all employment sectors. This includes anyone working with in these sectors prior to commencing employment, regardless of their role.

This includes all employees working in:

  • Retail Store
  • Forecourts
  • Hospitality
  • Restaurants & Cafes
  • Manufacturing
  • Office
  • Suitable for almost all employment sectors where fire is a risk.

What does the course cover?

The course includes all required knowledge set out by the Health & Safety Legislation in Ireland.

Modules are:

  • Fire Safety Legislation in Ireland
  • Fire Hazards & Risks
  • Preventing & Managing Fires
  • Evacuation Procedures

Please note: A separate assessment is also required in the workplace, where you are required to demonstrate the correct use of a fire extinguisher. Please ensure you discuss this with your employer.

Course Outcome

Upon completing the course, you will be required to fill out a course assessment, to demonstrate your understanding of the subjects.

Once you achieve a pass rate of 80% or higher, a certificate will be issued.
