This Online Manual Handling Training Course will teach you the necessary skills that are required in Ireland to fully understand the risks associated with manual handling activities in the workplace, and the behaviors and techniques required to control such risks, avoiding injury to you and others. This course is in line with Health & Safety Authority Requirements.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for all employees working in a number of sectors, involving general day-to-day manual handling tasks. This includes anyone working within these sectors prior to commencing employment, regardless of their role.
This includes all employees working in:

- Hospitality
- Restaurants & Cafes
- Manufacturing
- Office
- Any employment sector involving general day to day manual handling activities.
What does the course cover?
The course includes all required knowledge set out by the Health & Safety Legislation in Ireland.

- Introduction to Manual Handling
- Anatomy of the Spine
- Posture
- TILE Method
- Principles of Manual Handling
Course Outcome
Upon completing the course, you will be required to fill out a course assessment, to demonstrate your understanding of the subjects.
Once you achieve a pass rate of 80% or higher, a certificate will be issued.
